The Family Man Season 2 will be premiering on February 12, 2021. After gaining popularity from season 1, they decided to return with another season. The show is a spot thriller that was streaming on Amazon Prime Video from September 20, 2019. This splendid show was created by Raj and DK.
This is one of the most anticipated and awaited series of the year. This new season will be bigger and better, as it is made on a larger scale as compared to the first season of the show. The new season promises to be more interesting and will surely have deadlier villains.

For the unintiated, The Family Man is an out-and-out thriller, action-drama series that revolves around the life of Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man. Although Srikant appears to be a normal next-door guy, he works for a special cell of the National Investigation Agency.
The series explores Srikant’s tight-rope walk as he struggles to strike a balance between his secretive, low-paying, high-pressure, high-stakes job and being a husband and a father. This is as much a satirical take on the geopolitics of the region as it is the story of a middle-class guy who is a world-class spy.

Matters are always mysterious when it comes to The Family Man and that is what seems to be happening with the trailer. Prime Videos and Manoj Bajpayee had announced the release of the Trailer on Jan 19, 2020 but it has already been delayed by 2 days with no news of when will it be released.

The Family Man Season 2 release date
The wait will be over, as the series will be dropping in less than a month. We all cant wait to see Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee) back in action. The previous season released almost one and a half years ago. Although they left us on a cliffhanger, leaving us waiting for the show to return.
The wait has been real but it shall be over on February 12, 2021. The web series got rave reviews as soon as it was released prompting the makers to announce the sequel of the show. is expected to be just as thrilling and engaging as the first season.
The probable plot of Season 2
Srikant Tiwari (Bajpayee) and his team are responsible for preventing terrorist attacks and we saw him struggling with his work and as well as family life in season 1. His marriage is crumbling and he is struggling to decode a terrorist attack.
In the new season, we will see him up against a new antagonist, Raji who will be played by Samantha Akkineni. With all of this, he will still find it difficult to balance between his personal and professional life.
A new poster was shared by Amazon Prime video which said “This Time, No One is Safe”. Since the first antagonist, Moosa (Neeraj Madhav) died, Raji will be the new replacement in the new season. We have all seen Samantha in myriad of roles and I am sure that seeing her play a baddy will also be a treat for all the fans. It is a possibility that Moosa was working for Raji or if the rumours are true, then we might get to know that Raji is working for Moosa.
Season 1 ended with a cliffhanger. Srikant realized that Mission Zulfiqar is far from over. Moosa just might be succeeding in this plan, He planted a toxic gas in the chemical plant, hoping that it will kill everyone in Delhi in just 2 hours. Zoya and Milind get to the plant but are unable to stop the leak of the toxic gas. This is when the series ends here.
What to expect in Season 2?
Shreya Dhanwanthary, told India Today in an interview, “Well, Family Man Season 1, the last episode ends on my face, I am trapped in a chemical factory where a blast is about to take place. So you will know pretty much of what happens in Season 2 in the first five minutes of the first episode.”
In this new season, fans will finally find out what happened between Srikant’s wife, Suchitra (Priyamani) and Arvind (Sharad Kelkar) in the hotel on that night. This will result in a disruption in Srikant’s life. As for his work life, that will go downhill as well.
Karim’s girlfriend has got hold of the video which is a piece of important evidence that will prove if Karim is innocent or not. Karim was wrongly accused and was called a terrorist, which led to his death. Since he was killed by T.A.S.C., Srikant will now be accused as he got an innocent person killed. The evidence video is released on social media.
Srikant goes missing as he works to solve the mystery from the shadows. Even as his family and his team at T.A.S.C is looking for him, it seems like he might remain in the hiding for first couple of episodes.
Another big revelation is about Moosa. Even though Moosa died in Season 1, there was a hint, in another video released by Prime videos, that Moosa might not be dead. The makers and cast of the web series can be seen talking about rumors that Moosa might be back in Season 2. I’d say that it is a very strong indication that we will get to see Moosa again.
