‘Echosense Technologies Private Limited’, a company incorporated under the laws of India, having its registered office at ‘517, 5th Floor, Unitech Arcadia, South city 2, Sector-49, Gurugram – 122018’, – the term includes ‘Echosense Technologies Private Limited’s subsidiary/ies, affiliate/s, channel/s, joint venture/s, sister concern/s, franchise/s et cetera (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Echosense”), which operates the website piccle.in and Piccle mobile app (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Piccle”, “we”, “us” or “our”), to deliver content and provide other services to consumers from time to time (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Services”).

Piccle values your privacy as you enjoy our services. This document (“Privacy policy”) informs you of what information do we collect and our practices regarding the Information that we collect from you. 

The use of Piccle mobile app (hereinafter referred to as “Piccle app” or “app”) or piccle.in (hereinafter referred to as “Piccle website” or “website”) may involve the collection and use of your behavioural and browsing data Information to improve our services and to give you better experience. We request you to kindly read this Privacy Policy carefully, so that you understand why certain information is collected and how is it used.

By using Piccle App or website, you agree that we may collect, use and share your behavioural data and other information available on your device in accordance with this Privacy Policy, as revised from time to time. SCOPE AND APPLICATION OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy applies to Piccle mobile app and/or Piccle Website  (hereinafter referred to as “Piccle”), including any services associated with Piccle mobile app or Piccle website that incorporates this Privacy Policy by reference. Such Piccle – related services may have further privacy-related terms that you must agree to as part of your use of such services.

Please note that the scope of this policy is limited to your use of ‘Piccle mobile app’ or ‘piccle.in’ website and not with any other product or services offered by Echosense Technologies Private Limited.

Please also note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to Information collected: (i) by any third party (including any third party websites, apps, plugins or mobile app SDKs) that you may access through Piccle mobile app and/or website; or (ii) by other companies and organisations who advertise their services on Piccle mobile app or website.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

Piccle reserves the right to revise or add specific instructions, from time to time, policies and terms to this Privacy Policy. These instructions, policies and terms form part of this Privacy Policy. Where we consider that any changes to this Privacy Policy are reasonably material, we will notify you via Piccle App via direct notification on Piccle App or Piccle website, prior to the change becoming effective.

By continuing to use Piccle App or website after any changes to this Privacy Policy, with or without notice from us, you are agreeing to the revised Privacy Policy.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE COLLECT IT

In providing services through Piccle, we collect, store and use the following Information relating to you:

Your Personal Information – the information or a combination of information that can be associated with a specific person and could be used to identify that specific person whether from that data, or from the data and other information that we have, or is likely to have access to. We do not consider personal information to include information that has been made anonymous or aggregated so that it can no longer be used to identify a specific person, whether in combination with other information or otherwise.

We also collect information about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Services and your usage details. We also collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

We collect this information directly from you when you provide it to us, especially when you login through other social media website login interface, for the purposes of accessing articles which require adult age consent; and/or automatically through your usage of our Services (information collected automatically may include usage details, preferences, IP addresses, application packages present on your device, device information like user name, account, android id and device model, your marketing preferences and information collected through cookies, location and other tracking technologies)

HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

• to provide Piccle services (and the features within Piccle App or website) to you account, for example, we gather information about the sections and links that you click. However, this is purely for the purpose of providing better experience to you.
• to better understand how you access and use Piccle services, in order for us to improve our services and respond to customer desires and preferences, including for us to provide language and location customisation, personalised help and instructions;
• to help us develop our new services and improve our existing services;
• to assess the effectiveness of and improve advertising and other marketing and promotional activities on or in connection with Piccle.

SHARING OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT

By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, you consent to the third party use, sharing and transfer of your personal Information as described in this section.

Sharing for the provision of Piccle services

We and our affiliate companies may share your non-personal Information within our group of companies and with joint venture partners and third party service providers, contractors and agents, in each case, for the following purposes:

• providing Piccle services to you;
• assisting us in carrying out the purposes set out under the “HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT” section above;
• carrying out our obligations and enforcing our rights under this Privacy Policy; and/or
• helping us understand and improve Piccle App and/or website.

Sharing for marketing purposes

• We allow third party marketing partners (such as other analytics providers and advertising partners) to collect your Information over time and by using device information, sensors and services when you use Piccle.
• If you interact with social media features on our Services, such as the Facebook Like button, or use your social media credentials to log-in or post content, these features may collect information about your use of the Services, as well as post information about your activities on the social media service. Your interactions with social media companies are governed by their privacy policies.
• As we continue to develop our business, we or our affiliate companies may be acquired by a third party or may re-organise our group structure. In these circumstances, your Information may be transferred within our group and/or to a third party who will continue to operate Piccle App and website or similar services under either this Privacy Policy or a different privacy policy which will be notified to you. The party to which your Information is transferred may be located, and use your Information, outside of your jurisdiction.

Sharing for Legal purposes

We may share your information when we believe in good faith that such sharing is reasonably necessary in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding possible illegal activities or to comply with legal process. We may also share your information to investigate and address threats or potential threats to the physical safety of any person, to investigate and address violations of this Privacy Policy or to investigate and address violations of the rights of third parties and/or to protect the rights, property and safety of Piccle, our employees, users, or the public. This may involve the sharing of your information with law enforcement, government agencies, courts, and/or other organizations on account of legal request such as subpoena, court order or government demand to comply with the law.

COMMUNICATIONS FROM US

We communicate with you via Push notifications on Piccle App or via notice display within the Piccle website and App when we consider it necessary to do so. If you no longer wish to receive push notifications on Piccle App, you can do so by opting out of notifications at the device level.

Service-related announcements

We may from time to time send you service-related announcements via Push notifications on Piccle App or via notice display within the Piccle website and App when we consider it necessary to do so (such as when we temporarily suspend Piccle App or website for maintenance). You may not opt-out of these service-related announcements, which are not promotional in nature.

THIRD PARTY SERVICES ON PICCLE

Piccle may link you to social media or other features or services (including websites, plug-ins and widgets) provided by a third party. For example:

We may (whether in advertisements or otherwise within Piccle) provide you with links or features that allow you to access third party services or websites (or access within Piccle App or website content that is hosted on those third party services or websites). For example, you may be able to access videos hosted by a third party within Piccle App or website.

These third party services may be hosted by the relevant third party or us. PERIOD OF USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Other than the above-mentioned cases, we will generally retain your Personal Information for only so long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, as set out under the “How We Use Your Information” section above.

Should you uninstall Piccle App for any reason, we will (subject to the above paragraph) take steps to ensure that your Personal Information is no longer available through Piccle, or otherwise used by us, within a reasonable period of time (subject to technical limitations) after you have uninstalled Piccle. However, it is important to note that Piccle cannot exercise any control on the Personal Information collected by third parties during the use of Piccle services by you.

WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
