Amul ads are well known for their wordplay and topicality. Other than the witty punchlines, the Amul Girl is a permanent feature of these ads. Over the last many decades she has been a torchbearer of hope, positivity and voice of a common man. However, there were occasions when she changed her tone to satire when dealing with a political/socio-economic issue.
