New Movies to be announced by YRF
Yash Raj Films, Aditya Chopra’s production house will be celebrating its 50th year of operations in 2021. A golden jubilee calls for a celebration indeed. Since the cinema theatres are back in business with 100% capacity, YRF is about to announce their plans for the much-awaited 50 years celebration. No points for guessing that it about the release of new movies.
Aditya Chopra revealing his grand plan for YRF 50 is one of the most awaited announcements in Bollywood.
With theatres now operating at 100 percent occupancy, the production company will now roll out their ambitious celebration plan, comprising the announcement of a few new films.
As per a source, “Aditya Chopra had planned that the YRF 50 announcement will take place in the theatres and he is sticking to that. The production house didn’t release any of its films on OTT platforms during the pandemic as it wanted theatrical releases for all of them”.
There is a buzz in the B-Town that Yash Raj Films will announce five new movies and also give further information about Prithviraj, Shamshera, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Bunty aur Babli 2 and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar.
Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is one of the movies that are set to be released this year. Starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, this movie was set to release on 20 March 2020 but due to the Coronavirus was pushed back. This is the first expected YRF movie to hit the cinemas.
Another movie, Bunty Aur Babli 2, starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh.
Then, Ranveer Singh starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar is also an awaited movie and is waiting for the signal to hit the cinemas.
The other new movies in YRF’s 50-year celebration are Prithviraj, starring Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Manushi Chhillar and Shamshera, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor.
