There has been so much buzz about Free Fire MAX of late and it is not without a reason. Garena Fire Free fans are waiting for the MAX version with bated breath. Along with the excitement, there is also some confusion about the launch date and features of MAX. Users are confused if it’s a new game, a different app or just an event. Breath easy now, here’s all you need to know about Free Fire MAX features, launch date and specs. Read on!

What is Garena Free Fire MAX?

Free Fire MAX is a standalone app (a separate app from the original Free Fire app) that offers its players a similar Free Fire gameplay. It is similar to the existing game that users love but Garena has enriched it further with upgraded specifications.

Free Fire MAX VS Free Fire

Free Fire MAX is the more spec-heavy version, which is very much identical to Free Fire as far as the gameplay is concerned; but it incorporates many advanced effects, animations, and graphics to extend the immersion and enrich the overall user experience. MAX will also bring along new features (like Craftland, new lobby etc) to provide a special experience to its players.

Exclusive Features

Log In Video: During login, players will see a video specially made for the event.
360 Degree Lobby: A private, customizable lobby for players to display their items. The game makers will continue to add in new features so all players have their unique hideout.
Customizable Item Display Area: Display area for Vehicle Display, Gloo Wall Display, Rank Display, and Weapon Rack (can display up to 3 weapons at the same time)

Craftland

Create Your Own and Play: Users will be able to create their own maps and the finished maps can be uploaded to the server. Free Fire MAX’s players will also be able to invite their friends from Free Fire and Free Fire MAX to play on the maps.
Other Functions: Players will be able to share the maps for others to host and they can like, subscribe and share the maps. Sounds like Free Fire is getting warmed up to social media.

Realistic Map

Premium Graphics: Free Fire MAX offers greatly enhanced in all maps with higher resolutions that offer next-level HD maps to its users.
Map Effect: New map special effects are added in order to provide a more realistic and premium game experience. For Example: Water reflection effect, enhanced safe zone effect, dusting effect, fallen leaves when shooting on the trees.
New Map – Bermuda MAX: Clock Tower and Factory area have been redesigned that adds details of the inside and outside of the structures, plants, and more.

Immersive Gameplay

Enhanced visual effect: Free Fire has often been referred to as inferior to PUBG when it comes to animation. MAX seeks to address this issue with enhanced animation. The makers claim to have made running, jumping, crawling, parachuting etc more realistic and smoother. Also, for most weapons; reloading animation of weapons, which is popular among players, has been revamped.

Sound and Special effects: Sounds of weapons and explosives have been changed to more realistic ones and a few special effects also have been tweaked. These include the Weapon tracer, bullet hole effect and vehicle effect. I am really looking forward to breaking some lights 😀

When is Free Fire MAX getting launched?

There have been rumors and insider tips that we have been hearing/seeing but there is no confirmation from Free Fire about the same. They have opened the pre-registration on 30 Aug, 2021 but haven’t said anything about the final launch. Last we heard was Oct 08 as the launch date, but now we are hearing that it could be September 28, 2021.

Pre-registration for Free Fire Max

The pre-registration website is already launched. Players can open it in the game. When the pre-registered players’ amount reaches the threshold; they will get the milestone rewards. Those who have invited the top 10 will be eligible to redeem the top 10 rewards. Reward Redemption
