About Navalben Dalsangbhai Chaudhary

She has become an inspiration for so many entrepreneurs and people everywhere. At the age of 62, she has done something most women would think of. She hails from the Nagana district of Banaskantha, Gujarat.

She started a small milk revolution in her own village’s district. Sources say that she has crossed a record of making milk sales of approximately 87.95 lakhs worth of milk. Sources also say that she has made a profit of roughly 3.5 lakhs per month.

She is a simple woman, with no educational background she has turned into the village businesswoman and has definitely inspired so many people around her.

What makes her a true entrepreneur is that she took a basic problem/need and found a solution for it. She did that by providing people with an ongoing dairy supply.

How did she do?

Last year, she began a very small business company in her own house. She got the resources, she made a small farm where she now has about 80 buffaloes and 45 cows. They supply her with milk, enough for nearby homes. This has now become the staple dairy go-to for many villages in her vicinity.

A true milk entrepreneur

Navalben has 4 sons, none of them help her with her work. In fact, her sons don’t earn as much as she does. Her sons are studying and working in other cities. She started her business independently and she continues to work that way.

Although now she has employed 15 people. In 2019, She was the first woman in her district, Banaskantha to earn and sell milk. She earned a gross net of INR 88 lakhs. In 2020, she was off the charts, she was on number one, as the dairy provider in her district. She sold milk amounting to 1 crore, 10 lakhs.

She starts her day by milking the cows. Her aim is to become of the largest dairy providers in not just her own district, but also to start distributing milk to nearby districts.

Women like Navalben are a true inspiration to all Indian women and all entrepreneurs as well. She’s proven that education or business knowledge isn’t a necessity for success, one can be successful just by showing the required grit and determination. Above all, she makes age sound like such a lame excuse for all those who think they are too old to start something new.

Hats off to Navalben and all the women entrepreneurs out there who are striving to make their mark and contribute to India’s future. If you too liked her story then let us know in the comments below.
