Best Bollywood Movies We’d get to watch in 2021!
We’ve all missed the Bollywood movies masala a lot this year as the shooting of several awaited films stopped for some time due to the pandemic. Fortunately, the situation seems to be coming under control now and with that, the hopes are high to soon watch some new Bollywood movies in 2021.
So here we are, with a list of upcoming Bollywood Movies expected to release in the year 2021 and who knows if some of these turn out to be one of the best Bollywood movies. We’ve also put in some details so you know what to expect. So let’s get started with it now!
Golmaal 5
The Golmaal franchise has been running for a long time and Rohit Shetty has again shown interest in another installment of this movie. The name itself tells us that it is going to be fun, entertaining, and as hilarious as always since the first Golmaal movie in 2006. Ajay Devgn who plays the role of Gopal Kumar in every Golmaal film has already shown his interest through his official Instagram account and Shreyas Talpade who plays Laxman Prasad Apte has also spoken about the script of Golmaal saying that it’s still developing but Rohit Shetty seems to be all set with the story of Golmaal 5.
No points for guessing that we’ll also be seeing Arshad Warsi, Kunal Khemu, Tushar Kapoor, as well in the movie where they will reprise their roles as Madhav Singh, Laxman Prasad, Lucky respectively. There was also a talk of Kareena Kapoor returning to this installment of Golmaal but nothing is confirmed yet. The movie is set to release in 2021.
Satyameva Jayate 2
Satyameva Jayate 2 is also one of the candidates up for release in 2021. The first installment of the movie, released in 2018, received much appreciation with a few hit songs. This being a sequel of the first movie, we will again see John Abraham, as Virendra Rathod, fight the injustice and misuse of power. While John remains the male lead, the female lead in this film is played by Divya Khosla Kumar as Sita Rameshwar in the sequel.
Directed by Milap Zaveri, the cast also includes stalwart Manoj Bajpayee as Shivansh Rathod with others. The team has put in a lot of hard work of the team in this movie with all the masala in place and hard-hitting (literally) action scenes. The scenes are very intense and John also got hurt during the shoot of one of the action sequences. The movie is slated for release on 12 May 2021.
Heropanti 2
Next in line is Heropanti 2, a sequel of the movie with the same name. The first installment of the movie, also the debut movie for Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon, was a super-duper hit and was loved by many. Directed by Ahmed Khan the franchise will come up with the second installment but with a different plot where Tiger plays a reel life hero. The young fans love Tiger Shroff and we also hope that he will be giving up some of the Best Bollywood movies, but we will have to see if Heropanti 2 is one of those movies.
Not many details about the film are out yet but we can say that the film will release on 16 July 2021. The film will also star Aditya Belnekar and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai
Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is undoubtedly one of the most awaited Bollywood films. It was initially set to release on 22 May 2020 but the shooting delays due to the pandemic the shooting could be wrapped up by October 2020 only. Radhe is a remake of a South Korean movie “The Outlaws” with “Bhai” playing his role as Radhe in it along with Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff and others. The name Radhe was used previously for Salman’s character in the movie “Wanted” and it was inspired by his character’s name in the movie “Tere naam” which is one of the Best Bollywood Movies from Salman Khan to date.
Directed by Prabhu Deva the movie is set around a full action plotline and there are talks about Jackie Shroff playing the role of Salman’s boss. The cop drama will also witness Gautam Gulati as one of the antagonists.
Laal Singh Chaddha
Laal Singh Chaddha is based on the highly loved American movie “Forrest Gump”. It is one of the most awaited and also on eo the most delayed movies that we’ll finally get to watch in 2021. The movie has been shot in more than 100 Indian locations. We all know about Aamir Khan’s love for challenging roles and once again it seems he’s given his 100% to this character.
For playing the role of Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir had to lose 20 kgs to fit in the younger version of the lead character. Kareena Kapoor Khan, who will be seen as Maneela Sodhi, wife of Laal Singh Chaddha, has also spoken about Aamir’s hard work. Mona Singh who plays Pinky Kaur, Aamir’s younger sister in the movie, said she was shocked to hear Aamir’s fluent Punjabi.
The movie also features Vijay Sethupathi as Aamir’s friend in the film as Karthik Rajshekhar and with this movie he will be making his Bollywood debut. The movie will be releasing on 24 December of 2021.
Bell Bottom
The story of Bell Bottom revolved around several true events that occurred in the 1980’s. These events made the era remarkable and the spy thriller will mention some heroes of the time. Akshay Kumar has been booked for several movies in line and this is one of them.
Talking about the other cast, we will see Vaani Kapoor playing the role of the lead actress along with Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta. The film was wrapped on 30 September 2020 and is all set to release on 2 April 2021.
Maidaan
The story of Maidaan is about the golden era for Indian football. Ajay Devgn is playing the role of Syed Abdul Rahim who was a football player, coach and manager of the Indian National team from 1950 to 1963 until he passed away and is considered as the architect of the Indian football game. The biographical sports film will show the origination and development of today’s one of the most loved sport.
The filmmakers initially decided to cast Keerthy Suresh in the film but as the beauty did not fit for much motherly role she was replaced by Priyamani. The film was initially set to release on August 13, 2021, but was rescheduled to release on Dussehra that is 15 October 2021.
