The app is gaining more traction and more and more people are using video conferencing services. The app is now giving a tough competition to services like Google Hangouts and Skype. The app has crossed the mark of fifty million downloads recently.

Zoom app is a free app that supports HD video conferencing up to 100 attendees. Meetings have a limited window of 40 minutes for free accounts, however, in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic Zoom has removed this limitation for free users.

Zoom attendee tracking is another big privacy concern. Meeting hosts track whether participants have their Zoom app in view on a PC or whether it’s simply in the background. Many such permissions are taken without the consent of the user.
