Netflix introduces a mobile game named ‘Heads Up!’

Netflix continues to expand its portfolio of shows and movies for its audience. To improve the user experience, the franchise has recently begun offering games based on various themes. The platform has returned with a new interactive game called Heads Up. In the game, each player has one minute to guess the word written on the other player’s forehead. The game is essentially a revamped version of charades.

The game will include 28 playing decks based on popular shows such as Squid Game, Shadow and Bone, Stranger Things, and others. The game will allow players to test their own and their friends IQs. Prepare for some fierce head-to-head competition, according to Netflix’s official statement, whether you have a party of five or fifty.

The game is available in 15 languages, including French, Italian, German, Thai, Korean, Japanese, and Portuguese. Not only that, but players will be able to record their gaming sessions in the same way that WhatsApp, TikTok, and Instagram do. The game is completely free to play, with no in-app purchases or advertisements. You must, however, have a Netflix subscription to access the game.

All Android and iOS users can play the game by going to Netflix and selecting the game tab. Netflix currently has around 28 games on its platform. The company has already stated that it intends to provide users with more than 50 games.

The franchise has also recently released three new games: Into The Breach, Mahjong Solitaire, and Before Your Eyes. Before Your Eyes is the most well-known of the three, having won the British Academy Video Games Award (BAFTA) for Game Beyond Entertainment that year.
