Sports drinks are highly consumed by people athletes and people who especially work out. The salt and sugar content in it proves to be very energetic. But when taken in excess it will not go well with your balanced diet. The regular proportion of salt and sugar that you take along with the same content in your daily meal should be properly balanced. If not you would face health issues.
