Never in the past have we understood the importance of improving our immunity as much as we do now in the time of Covid-19. To fight the pandemic that’s making the world lose its sleep, we all are trying to take all precautionary measures like hand wash, proper hand sanitization, masks etc.

Social media is abuzz with tips on various combinations and medicines to deal with this pandemic, even as the best doctors and scientists in the world are still struggling to find an effective vaccination or cure for this. But to date, there is no medicine or diet to completely eradicate your chances of enduring this.

The only way out till then is to boost our immunity. With lockdown and restriction on movement and lack of availability of food supplies, some of the tips have become infeasible, hence we thought to bring you ways to improve your immunity with the items at home and in your kitchen.

Dalchini

It is loaded with antioxidants, has anti-inflammatory properties and is considered to reduce the risk of infections and diseases. Its antibacterial and antifungal properties help in boosting your immunity. It actually fights the pathogens that cause illness.

Amla – the ultimate immunity booster

It is known to boost immunity by increasing the body’s white blood cell count and help prevent viral infections and diseases.

When consumed with honey, it acts as a revitalizing agent. Apart from being a rich source of antioxidants amla juice is also enriched with essential micronutrients.
