Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 – Free Beta Codes For Xfinity Members

Modern Warfare II multiplayer begins very soon, and fans have discovered a new way to obtain a code. Xfinity subscribers in the United States can apparently obtain a beta code through the Xfinity Rewards programme. Members can check Xfinity Rewards to see if a code is waiting for them. People on Reddit initially thought you had to be a Gold member to get the code, but that is not always the case. In any case, visit the website to find out for yourself.

About Modern Warfare 2

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a first-person shooter video game released in 2009 by Activision. The campaign of the game follows Task Force 141, a multi-national special forces unit led by Captain Soap MacTavish, as they hunt Vladimir Makarov, the leader of the Russian Ultranationalist party, and U.S. Army Rangers from the 1st Battalion/75th Ranger Regiment who are defending Washington, D.C. from a Russian invasion. Sergeant Gary “Roach” Sanderson of the 141 and Private James Ramirez of the Army Rangers are the main playable characters in the game, with Captain MacTavish becoming playable later in the campaign. The game includes an extensive multiplayer mode, as well as several new features and modes not seen in its predecessor.

The Modern Warfare II beta begins on September 16, one day after the Call of Duty Next event, during which Activision will reveal more information about the game’s multiplayer and other features.

In other Call of Duty news, Microsoft has confirmed that if Microsoft’s buyout of Activision Blizzard goes through, it will keep Call of Duty on PlayStation for “years” beyond the current deal. Modern Warfare II will be released on October 28, but anyone who preorders will be able to start playing the campaign a week earlier.

Activision is also releasing Warzone 2.0 and a new Call of Duty game for mobile this year, in addition to Modern Warfare II. All of these upcoming projects will be discussed by Activision at the Call of Duty Next event on September 15.
