Ayan Mukerji Introduces ‘Secret Society’ Of Sages Featured In ‘Brahmastra’, Dissects Various ‘Astras’
The much-awaited movie of the year, Brahmastra is all ready to surprise and enter the audience. The film will be released on the big screen on September, 9 featuring some of Bollywood’s extraordinary actors, including Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor. The movie is based on Astraverse, a universe with several powerful astras.

Ayaan took to his Instagram handle and posted the video along with the caption, “While Brahmastra is a work of fiction, my attempt has been to celebrate Indian spirituality, in my own way, through this movie.”
He added, “On this very auspicious day of Guru Purnima, I wanted to share a little more in-depth about the concept of Brahmastra – a movie through which I personally found myself transforming into a forever-student of the infinite wisdom that exists in our ancient Indian roots. Hope you guys enjoy our imagination! #astraverse.”
Ayan also presented the premise of Bramhastra which begins in an ancient world. The visual begins with an image from a mystical time in ancient India, where ‘Brahmansh’ a group of sages, are in deep meditation in the Himalayas, after which they are blessed with ‘The Light of the Universe.’ He shared that ‘astras’ are those weapons that are based on the four elements of matter- fire, earth, wind, and water with an exquisite ability to harness the power of animals like bulls and monkeys.
He further explains, “These sages vow to protect these astras and as the guardians of Bramhastra, they name themselves Brahmansh, a secret society which will exist amongst other men, and does good for the world with the power of these astras. Time moves forward humanity proceeds ahead and so the Bramhastra as well.”
About Brahmastra
Brahmastra is a 3 part film and will be released all across India, across five different languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. It features some of the fine actors of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in the lead roles.
