Tesla has always topped the charts when talking about innovation and radical change in the motor industry. Ever since its launch in 2003 engineers at Tesla have worked to build a stylish and reliable product. But all was not gloomy for the company in the early days. Billionaire Elon Musk is not the founder of Tesla
Though Elon is the face of the company, not many people know that Tesla was founded by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning. Elon Musk led the first round of investment in early 2004 and joined the board of directors as Chairman.
Tesla Roadster – The First Working Prototype
After being incorporated in 2003 the first production car “Roadster” was revealed in 2006. It was the first BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) from Tesla. Tesla sold almost 2500 units in over 30 countries. Roadster could travel 393 kilometers (244 mi) on a single charge.
Only 6 Parts To Be Replaced Regularly for Model S
Four Tires and Two Wiper Blades need regular replacement and other parts like motor coolant, battery and brake pads required an occasional check-up and that’s all with Tesla Model S. The BEV requires almost no service at all.

Elon Musk and his team have really thought deep when designing various Models of Tesla. Not only being cost-effective (saves on fuel, mechanical charges, etc.) Tesla’s charging stations will also swap the battery of the car in less than $60. In addition, the battery of Model S was designed to be replaced in under 90 seconds.
