Twitter Warrioress: It’s Rangoli Vs Bollywood

Celebrities can get carried away on social media especially on Twitter thus making it a pit-stop for some juiciest celebrities drama. Most celebrities try to stay away from such public feuds but there are also a few who just can’t stay away from the controversies. There are many but Rangoli Chandel, a social media manager and sister of Kangana Ranaut, takes the cake.

She’s an acid attack survivor, a mother and one of the most vociferous twitter celebrities in the country. She is very protective of Kangana and that makes her train her guns on anyone and any incident that she feels harms Kangana’s interests.

Here are a few twitter wars, almost all initiated by Rangoli, that left the one’s in her cross-hair gasping.

Rangoli Chandel against Alia and Ananya

Rangoli Chandel is fearless and she can pick a fight with just about anyone, but she is especially against the so-called “Nepotism Gang” of Bollywood, which, as per her, is led by Karan Johar.

In a recent award function, when Alia Bhatt and Ananya Pandey won the award for the Best Actor Female and Best Debutant Female respectively, she got really upset and started in her usual style.

She also wrote,

“Radhika Madan (Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota) deserved the best debutant award, not Ananya, she has opportunities known parents papa jo (Karan Johar), at least give Radhika little encouragement. Ankita Lokhande (Manikarnika) as Jhalkari Bai was a supreme debut magar nepo ne prove kar diya, jab tak gangagi saaf nahi hogi tab tak industry mein real talent ko insaaf nahi milega.“

Rangoli Chandel against Randeep Hooda

When the Kick actor, Randeep Hooda, showed support for her Highway co-star, Alia, by writing

“Dearest Alia I’m so glad you are not letting the opinions of very occasional actors and chronic victims affect you and your work .. kudos to you for your continued efforts to outdo yourself“

To which Rangoli retaliated with her own statement

“Alia baby ko bachane ko nepotism gang ki khud ki himmat nahin toh tujhko aage kiya. I know during film ‘Ungli’ what u did, kitna harass kiya tune Kangana ko aur kitna bada chatukar hai tu Karan Johar ka. At least people like Alia are successful because of chamchagiri, bhai tu to permanent failure hai.”

Rangoli Chandel against Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap

Taapsee Pannu tweeted a few words of appreciation for the trailer of a (that time) upcoming Kangna’s movie “Judgementall Hai Kya” without mentioning Kangna’s name “This is so cool!!!! Always had high expectations out of this one n this looks so worth it“, which doesn’t go well with Rangoli and she wrote “Kuch log Kangana ko copy kar ke he apni dukaan chalate hain, magar please note, they never acknowledge her, not even a mention of her name in praising the trailer. Last, I heard Taapseeji said Kangana needs a double filter and Taapseeji you need to stop being a sasti copy“, to which Taapsee replied

“Short life, no time to waste on this. Have so many happier and better things happening in my life to look at right now“

But after reading Rangoli’s Tweet even Anurag Kashyap got irritated and took Taapsee’s side and tweeted

“Come on Rangoli.. this is going too far.. this is really really desperate.. I really don’t know what to say to this. Having worked with both your sister and Taapsee .. I just don’t get this.. praising the trailer means praising all aspect of it. Which includes Kangana.”

Rangoli Chandel and Kangana against Karan Johar

Kangana has worked with Karan in a movie named “Katti Batti” which was a box office disaster. That started a mild cold war between both the stars but the nail in the coffin was when Kangna appeared in the show “Koffee with Karan” where she called him a flag bearer of nepotism in Bollywood. She later also called him “intolerant” towards outsiders in the industry and to this Kjo replied by saying that Kangana plays the “victim” and “women” card every time and also asked her to leave the industry if she has so many issues with it.

After which Rangoli took over and tweeted

“Karan not only takes a huge percentage of every artist earnings who he launches or works with and sends to Matrix but also tells them what to wear and who to sleep with. Percentage I understand a lot of Hollywood production houses do that but always forcing actors to patch up & break up based on his brand propaganda requirements will not be acceptable by any self-respecting individual…”

She also tweeted after the recent award show

“Also KJo made sure Kalank ko bhi awards mile. Wahre duniya, hawas ka nanga nach toh suna tha magar Nepotism ka nanga nach aaj dekhne k“

Rangoli Chandel and Kangana against Hrithik Roshan

It is rumored that while shooting for the movie Krrish 3 Hrithik and Kangana fell in love and started dating. Kangana was very vocal about it in the media and said it to be true but Hrithik always denied all such allegations several times.

In an interview, Kangana hinted at Hrithik being her “silly ex.” to which he replied by tweeting “I would rather have an affair with the Pope than the woman I am being linked with” thus transforming the cold war into an ugly spat and he also sent her a legal notice for attacking his image in a public interview. Hrithik later apologized for his pope comment.

But the battle continued with Rangoli doing the most of it with no retaliation whatsoever. Most recently Rangoli shared a throwback photo with the following statement “Yeh dekho Pappu ji, sara din mujhe impress karne mein laga rehta tha taki meri bahen ki good books mein aa jaye, aur aaj kehta hai hum aapke hain kaun“, to which also there was no reply as it seems like he is tired of Rangoli’s childish behavior.

Rangoli Chandel against Varun Dhawan

After the trailer launch of “Judgementall Hai Kya”, Varun Dhawan was amongst the first few B-town celebrities to really appreciate the trailer. He tweeted “What a mast trailer. Amazing lead and supporting cast backed by some great writing. Looks like a lot of fun.“

Varun didn’t mention Kangana’s name in his tweet which made Rangoli really upset, although he didn’t mention anyone else’s name in his tweet. Rangoli tweeted

“Kangana ka bhi naam likh dete sir!! Wo bhi kisi ko bachi hai usne bhi mehnat ki hai !!!”

Varun being a thorough gentleman (or maybe because he didn’t want to indulge in a war of words), replied

“Loving everyone from Satish Sir, Hussain, Raj and specially Kangana aur lead cast ka wohi matlab tha ma’am. Best wishes“

These sisters are so prolific in the art of taking offense that any such article gets outdated the minute it is published. But, as they say – You can love her or hate her but you can’t ignore Rangoli.
