In response to last year’s success, Electronic Arts (EA) has begun preparing for the Apex Legends Global Series (AGLS) Year 3 with a preseason split in late 2022. Split 2 and the remaining stages of the tournament will take place in 2023. Additionally, EA announced that AGLS Year 3 would follow an updated pro league for regular season matches in addition to the competition schedules. For maximum high-level competition and qualification opportunities, each region’s Pro League may enter thirty (30) teams. The AGLS Year 3 program hosts three in-person competitions. It is estimated that there will be a prize pool of $5,000,000 for this tournament.

The International (TI) 2023 

The International (TI) is an annual esports tournament for the popular multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game Dota 2. In esports, it is the biggest event, with the largest prize pools and millions of dollars in prize money awarded to the top teams. Teams are invited based on their performance at other major Dota 2 tournaments and their ranking in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC), a series organized by Valve, the developer of Dota 2. It is one of the most lucrative events on the eSports calendar, with peak viewership numbers of over 1.75 million and a record-breaking 19-million-dollar prize pool in 2021. A global event, the International brings together teams from all over the world in order to determine the Dota2 world champion.

Six Invitational is the ultimate test of skill and strategy for the best Rainbow Six Siege players around the world. This annual tournament is the pinnacle of the game’s competitive scene and attracts the best teams from around the world. A massive $3 million prize pool and the title of World Champion are at stake for all competitors. A rigorous and competitive global ranking system is used to determine the qualification of teams for the Six Invitational. For the 2023 edition, the 20 teams that are selected will travel to Canada to compete in intense and high-stakes matches that showcase the best of Rainbow Six.

PUBG Global Championship (PGC) 2023 

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is the ultimate battle royale game. PUBG has become a mainstay, attracting top teams from around the world due to its high-stakes matches and intense gameplay. PUBG Global Championship (PGC) is the premier tournament for PUBG, where players from around the world prove their skills and compete for a share of the enormous prize pool. As part of the 2022 tournament, a massive $2,000,000 prize pool was awarded and 185,793 concurrent viewers watched the final match.

DreamHack 2023
