Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 dominates the box office during its second weekend, shattering this remarkable Baahubali record.
Sunny Deol’s movie “Gadar 2” is making a lot of money at the box office. In its second weekend, the film earned a massive 90 crore rupees. So far, the movie has collected over 375 crore rupees in total. This is a big achievement for Hindi cinema, as “Gadar 2” has beaten the second-weekend earnings of other popular movies like Pathaan, Dangal, Sanju, Baahubali: The Conclusion, and KGF: Chapter 2.
Taran Adarsh, a trade analyst, shared the exciting news. He said, “Gadar 2 is making history in its second weekend. It has the highest second weekend earnings ever in Hindi cinema. The huge weekend earnings have set a new record. It’s a blockbuster movie.” He also provided the detailed numbers for the second weekend: 20.50 crore rupees on Friday, 31.07 crore rupees on Saturday, and 38.90 crore rupees on Sunday. The movie has collected a total of 375.10 crore rupees in India.
Taran Adarsh also mentioned that “Gadar 2” has surpassed the second weekend earnings of the top 5 highest-grossing Hindi films by a significant margin. This means that “Gadar 2” is doing even better in its second weekend than some of the most successful movies in Hindi cinema history.
Sunny Deol’s movie “Gadar 2” and Akshay Kumar’s “OMG 2” were both released on the same day. However, “Gadar 2” has another impressive record – it earned the highest amount of money on Independence Day compared to any other film. On August 15, the movie faced a challenge because many people wanted to watch it, but there weren’t enough seats available to meet the demand. This means that a lot of people were interested in seeing “Gadar 2” on Independence Day.
Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel take on their familiar roles as Tara Singh and Sakeena in “Gadar 2,” which is a follow-up to the 2001 film “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.” Anil Sharma, who directed the first film, once again helms this sequel.
