Ranveer Singh’s Streaming Debut as Rocky Randhawa: Stylist Eka Lakhani Reveals the Designer Brands He Wore.

Since the release of “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” Alia Bhatt’s character, Rani Chatterjee, has been receiving a lot of attention for her impeccable style choices. Often seen adorned in elegant Manish Malhotra sarees throughout the film, Rani’s ethnic ensembles have captured the admiration of many. However, it wouldn’t be fair to solely attribute the title of the most stylish character to her, as Ranveer Singh’s portrayal of Rocky Randhawa would undoubtedly give her a run for her money. The actor’s stylist and the costume designer for “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” Eka Lakhani, took to Instagram to share her experience of styling Ranveer for the movie under the guidance of director Karan Johar. In her heartfelt caption, she expressed her gratitude to both Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar for the opportunity and appreciated the immense support from the audience. As the film’s fashion elements continue to make waves, Eka’s dedication and hard work, alongside her team, have undoubtedly paid off, resonating with the movie’s fans and enthusiasts.

Eka also explained three of Ranveer’s looks as Rocky from the movie. In the song “What Jhumka,” he wore jeans and a jacket from Amiri with orange star prints over a white t-shirt. He paired them with custom-made tangerine boots from Copper Mallet, which had a square toe and were ankle-high.

In the “Heart Throb” song video, Ranveer wore a shiny dark jacket from Dsquared2 over a tank top and silver sheen jeans from Balmain. His geometric-shaped glasses are from Philipp Plein, and he paired them with sneakers from Copper Mallet once again.

In another appearance in the movie, Rocky’s typographic black moto jacket is from Golden Goose while his jeans and boots are from Amiri. His accessories that completed the OTT look are from Versace.

Eka’s Thoughts

It’s evident that Eka Lakhani had the time of her life styling Ranveer in the movie. Calling him “the team’s favourite character”, it’s pretty obvious that the actor won hearts with the crew off the screen as well.
