The speculation around Motorola Edge S phone features and specifications has ended with its launch in China. The company’s latest smartphone is the world’s first one to have a Snapdragon 870 processor. Along with a good processor, it also has a large battery and a total of 6 cameras. The phone has been launched in three variants.

Motorola Edge S Price

The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variants of the Motorola Edge S are priced at CNY 1999 (approx. Rs 22,548), the 8GB + 128GB variants are priced at CNY 2399 (approx. Rs. 27,000) and the 8GB + 256GB variants are priced at CNY 2799 (approx. Rs. 35,559).

Specifications of Motorola Edge S

This smartphone has a 6.7-inch 90Hz IPS (2520 × 1080 pixels) LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also offers HDR10 support. This phone runs on Android 11. The fingerprint sensor is side-mounted. It comes in Emerald Light and Snow and Mist color options.

Motorola Edge S has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. This is an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 865+ processor and is made up of 7nm process. Its battery is 5,000mAh and supports 20W fast charging.

For photography, there is a quad camera setup in the rear of this smartphone. Its primary camera is 64MP with an f/1.7 aperture. Apart from this, it has a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera with phase-detect autofocus, 2MP depth sensor and a ToF stereoscopic depth sensor.

Other features

It also has features like macro video, video spot colour mode and audio zoom. At the same time, there is a 6MP primary camera and 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera for a selfie in its front. For connectivity, it supports 5G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 6.

The Motorola Edge S is IP52 splash-proof, has a 3.5mm headphone jack and comes with a charger, preinstalled screen protector, cable, and a case.
