Funny excuses people are making during Lockdown

During the hard times of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we all have been in lockdown for over a month. It’s tough, especially when you are not sure about how long will this lockdown last. It’s frustrating because it has put an end to all our routines, meeting with friends and our small regular outings to malls and restaurants; not to mention these are very challenging times for couples who are not able to meet anymore.

This stress and frustration cause an impulse to move out of home for some to overcome this feeling of house arrest, however, the authorities are blocking every attempt of people to move out from the safety of their home. There are people who gave the most hilarious reasons to break the rules of lockdown

1) Meet my fiance or else I will be single for life

A man in India when asked why he was out, his reply made the cops grab a smile in the hard times, He said he had to meet his fiance or she would not marry him. His fiance really wanted him smacked by the policemen.

2) Gonna catch em all

An Italian man broke the rules on lockdown just cause he wanted to play the all-time famous Pokémon game that took people’s life cause they ran clueless. One of the worst-hit countries, Italy and a man felt catching a virtual pokemon is more important than his life. Facepalming cops all the way.

3) Taking a dog for a walk far enough for a view

A man in the UK drove 35 km to take his dog for a walk cause he found that the place looks nicer for a walk. The cops chased him in his car, got a hold of him, and begged him to go back home.

4) Need for speed.

Empty roads and a supercar we all would like to go over the limit and break the rules speeding our way to a long stretched empty road. A man in India Drove on an empty road and after reaching a barricade, he was stopped and asked he stated he wanted to feel the breeze and drive on the empty road.

5) A hole For Two.

What happens when you leave two men in a lockdown. Obviously they talk about politics or have a drink. but there are two men who were arrested for violating Rhode Island’s quarantine order. They thought it would be a good idea to go play a round of golf instead of staying home.

6) Painting- A Hobby

We all have a hobby or talent, one of them may be painting, but who knew it could be a reason for beachgoers in Dorset, England who gave a good excuse for painting their beach huts

7) Gaming buddies

while playing PlayStations all by ourselves at home and getting bored while having a spare remote and no one to play with, well here’s an excuse that can get you to play the game of subway surfers with the cops as you explain to them that you are stepping out to your buddies house so he can play with you on PlayStation.

8) Mistaking cats for dogs

Have you ever seen a person bring his/her cat out on a leash and when asked say that he has come out for a walk with his cat? It is really a facepalming situation knowing that cats are not taken for a walk, but it couldn’t stop people in Italy to use it as an excuse to leave homes.

9) Stood up Dinosaur party

A man was spotted in Murcia, Spain roaming in a T-rex costume with the reason for being out not yet disclosed but I seriously think he is out there searching for the people who called him for a dinosaur theme party

10) Windows before Vows

A man was caught driving around 250 km with his wife in the trunk because the windows they bought during lockdown couldn’t fit in the trunk. Imagine the look on the cop’s face when they said open your trunk and found a woman and hearing the man’s reason.

It will be a shame if thousands of police staff have to control us to save our lives only while putting their own life at risk. They too have families and if they are risking it all for us then we need to respect their hard work and sacrifice too. So if you have any funny ideas to defy the restrictions, then please drop them now.
