  • Hot Wheels Unleashed
  • Riptide GP: Renegade
  • Yooka-Laylee & The Impossible Lair
  • Ys IX: Monstrum Nox

As part of their membership, Prime Gaming subscribers have access to these games via the Luna streaming service. However, unlike the eight games Prime Gaming members can download and keep this month, these are only playable through Amazon’s Luna game streaming service, and will only be available until September 30, after which they will be replaced by a new batch of titles.

Ys IX: Monstrum Nox, an action RPG from storied Japanese development studio Nihon Falcom, is the biggest game Prime Gaming members can stream this month. Adol Christin, an adventurer trapped in a strange city teeming with monsters, is played by the players. Players assemble a party of characters to aid them in battle and use unique special abilities to unlock new areas to explore.

Everspace, a space combat game with roguelike gameplay, is also available this month. Players blast through multiple stages, earning credits to spend on ship upgrades after each death. To keep each run feeling fresh, there are NPC characters to meet, side quests to complete, and other story content to unlock.

Yooka-Laylee & The Impossible Lair is a wonderful side-scroller created by developers who worked on classics like Donkey Kong Country and Banjo Kazooie. Earthworm Jim, an action-platformer with the gross-out humour and cartoony art you’d expect from an edgy ’90s classic, is also available if you want something a little raunchier.

If you like racing games, Hot Wheels Unleashed and Riptide GP: Renegade are also available to stream this month. Hot Wheels Unleashed is an arcade racer with a large selection of cars and tracks to try out, as well as a track builder for creating and sharing your own courses. In contrast, Riptide GP: Renegade is a water-based racer in which players pilot futuristic jet skis known as “hydrojets.”
