Akshay Kumar is one of Bollywood’s most successful actors. With the exception of his last few films, Kumar has always been a safe bet at the box office. A few days ago, Singh Is Kinng star was named India’s highest taxpayer and was presented with a certificate. Let us now look at his source of income, which has resulted in him being the highest taxpayer for two years in a row.

According to GQ, Akshay is the only actor to appear on Forbes’ global list of the highest-paid actors. According to the report, he earns Rs 486 crores per year on average. Let’s take a closer look at his earnings.
The actor charges more than Rs 100 crores for a film and receives a percentage of the box office revenue. According to an international magazine, he has received over Rs 100 crores for Bell Bottom and Bachchhan Paandey. In terms of brand value, Akshay has a brand value of Rs 1113 crores, according to Duff and Phelps’ Celebrity Brand Valuation Study. Akshay charges Rs 2-3 crores per brand endorsement, according to Financial Express. According to ET, Akshay is also involved in sports. He owns the World Kabaddi League team Khalsa Warriors, as well as a stake in the Kolkata-based Pro-Kabaddi League franchise Bengal Warrior.
Akshay also has his own production company, Hari Om Production, which he founded in 2008 and has since renamed Cape of Good Films. The production company has supported films such as Singh Is Kinng, Good Newwz, Fugly, and others. He has also worked with Ashvini Yardi’s Grazing Goat Pictures as a co-producer. He was most recently seen in the underwhelming Prithviraj, and he will next be seen in Raksha Bandhan, Ram Setu, Selfiee, the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru, and other films.
