It’s a delicacy enjoyed by many people around the world, but King Charles refuses to eat it. This delicacy is nothing more than an enlarged duck or goose liver and has been prohibited in royal kitchens since 2008. This is a luxurious French dish that is popular in fine dining restaurants and is more expensive than average. According to a Marie Claire report, this dish was banned after a Bristol resident wrote to the then-prince expressing animal welfare concerns about the controversial product. According to PETA, His Royal Highness’ Deputy Master of the Household responded to the letter writer with assurances that the product was banned.

King Charles dislikes coffee. He, like his fellow Royal members, enjoys and is particular about his tea. There are rules for each type of tea consumed by King Charles, according to reports, as different types of sweeteners are added to his tea, and even the placement of the teacup handle and spoon is very specific. From Earl Grey Tea and Green Tea to English Breakfast Tea, King Charles has a penchant for various teas.

Biscuit Cookie

According to Waitrose & Partners, he enjoys these cookies made with butter, potatoes, and grain. Many people are unaware that his obsession with these cookies is so strong that he prefers to eat them warm. King Charles prefers his biscuits to be pre-warmed to a specific temperature before eating them. An insider also reports that “the staff keeps a warming pan just to make sure they are hot enough for his liking.”

Meat and Dairy

In a 2021 interview with The BBC Breakfast, King Charles revealed that he does not eat “meat and fish two days a week” to support sustainable eating habits. In addition, he abstains from all dairy products one day per week.
