20 years of Bennifer’s love story
Hollywood’s most beautiful love story of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez has been a topic of discussion for many years. However, the two finally decided to put a ring on it and got married in Las Vegas on July 16. Jennifer took her website to confirm the news and also added that the couple flew to Las Vegas and waited for their marriage license in a queue along with four other couples.
Their beautiful love story started by meeting on the set of the film Gigli in late 200two-yearwo fell in love and had a two year relationship post which Affleck married Jennifer Garner, and Lopez, Marc Anthony, both relationships starting within a year of the January 2004 split. Two decades and two divorces later, the two finally decided on coming together and getting married.

- 2001 (They meet): Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck met on the set of the film Gigli. During that time, Jennifer was married to her second husband, Cris Judd. However, their dating rumours started.
- April 2002: Ben took out a full-page ad in Trade Magazine to compliment Lopez.
- July 24, 2002: At Lopez’s 33rd birthday party, the two were seen kissing and cuddling each other. Two days later, Lopez files for divorce from her husband Cris Judd.
- November 2002: Ben proposes to Lopez at his mother’s house in Boston, a rose petal-strewn affair topped off with a 6.1-carat, $2.5 million pink diamond ring.
- September 13, 2003: Lopez and Affleck postponed their wedding
- January 23, 2004: Both ended their relationship
- June 5, 2004: Jennifer married Marc Anthony.
- June 2005: Ben married Jennifer Garner
- 2021 (The reunion): The couple was seen spending a week together in Montana, on May 8. The two are linked multiple times throughout the month, before being spotted on an official date at Nobu on June 13, 2021.
- July 24, 2021: Lopez spends her birthday with Affleck and shared images of her kissing ben on her Instagram.
- September 10, 2021: Did their first red carpet together at Venice Film Festival since reuniting.
- April 8, 2022: Jennifer announced that she and ben are engaged
- July 2022: The couple tied the knot on their 20-year love story at an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas this weekend.
Expressing her excitement and gratitude about the new step in life, she further wrote on the website:
“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient. They were right when they said, ‘all you need is love.’ We are so grateful to have that in abundance, a new wonderful family of five amazing children and a life that we have never had more reason to look forward to.”
