Redmi Prime 11 5G launching in India on September 6, here is everything we know so far
Redmi has finally confirmed the launch of its next budget phone, the Redmi Prime 11 5G, in India after months of speculation and leaks. On September 6, the low-cost smartphone will be released in India. Along with the launch date, a few key specifications of the Redmi Prime 11 5G have been revealed. The Redmi Prime 11 5G will appeal to those on a tight budget.
Redmi Prime 11 Specifications
The Redmi Prime 11 5G’s design has also been revealed ahead of its launch. The phone has two massive camera sensors. The phone will be offered in two colours: blue and purple. The Prime 11 5G also has a textured panel on the back. It will be the successor to the Redmi Prime 10, which was well-received by budget consumers. Although the Redmi Prime 11 5G is still a mystery to buyers.
The Redmi Prime 11 5G is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone is also expected to have a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. For security, the phone has a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Redmi 11 Prime will have dual cameras, one with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and the other with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the Redmi Prime 11 5G will have a 5-megapixel snapper for selfies and video chats. The phone is expected to receive significant improvements over the Redmi Prime 10.
According to some reports, the Redmi 11 Prime 5G is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11E 5G phone, which was released in China in March of this year. The designs of the two smartphones are nearly identical. There are many similarities in the features as well. The Redmi Note 11E 5G, which was released in China, has a 6.58-inch Full-HD+ display with a lower refresh rate of 90Hz. The device is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
